In August 2020, the Brazilian postal service, Correios, called me, together with eight other artists, to design the proposals for the issuing of Christmas 2020 stamps. The idea behind this project was to use the stamp as a text-visual resource to transmit affections. One way to achieve this goal is to encourage, for example, the exchange of letters and Christmas cards through the Post Office using stamps.

 

This way, each person who sends correspondence can select a word that they like and that best reflects their emotional connection with the recipient. They sent me 10 words that arouse emotions, to be celebrated on a stamp this Christmas. My work was not chosen but I love to participate.
